Howard Berg, past ABS president, has a
collection
of antiquarian botanical books which includes a
complete set of the Curtis Botanical Magazine
from 1787 to the current date. He also has a
number of complete sets of, among others,
Paxton, Edwards and Loddiges in addition to
smaller sets by Hooker and others.
We are fortunate to have him share his
begonia collection with us. More illustrations
and descriptions will be added as he makes them
available to us. |

The Botanical Magazine in
1787 and to date over 10,000
illustrations of plants have been
printed. We thank Howard Berg for sharing
